ALTERNATE GOVERNMENT WALK FOR CHANGE!

At 5am this morning, 11 MPs of the Team Crown Camp woke up for a team walk around the town CBD area and the Ela Beach ring road.

Led by camp marshals Hon. Johnson Wapunai and Hon. Marsh Narewec, the group included Hiri-Koiari MP Keith Iduhu, North Bougainville MP Francesca Semoso, Central Governor Rufina Peter, Menyamya MP Solan Loifa, Salt Nomane MP Francis Alua, Samarai Murua MP Isi Henry Leonard, Middle Fly MP Maso Hewabi, Chuave MP James Nomane and Goilala MP Casmiro Aia.

The group were greeted with polite good mornings by the fellow residents exercising, and car honks by passers by.

Contrary to misinformation being spread on social media, the Crown Camp is following an open camp policy, with MPs allowed to move freely in and out as they please and participate in team bonding initiatives like this morning.

The leaders all agreed to maintain this practice in the coming weeks and encouraged fellow residents to stay fit and healthy in their daily lives.

Camp morale remains high amid the usual business of policy formulation and response packages to rescue the nation.

The leaders now head into their respective policy discussions and meetings.
